W.S. TYLER TEST SIEVES
W.S. Tyler developed the basis for the first Test Sieve standard over 100 years ago. Repeatable test results and particle size distribution curves from laboratory to laboratory are extremely important to quality control programs.
W.S. Tyler provides Test Sieves in three grades:
TYLER WET WASH/ DEEP FRAME SIEVES
For use in the cement industry where water is introduced to the test sample. 3″, 8″, and 12″ diameters with drain holes in the sieve skirt for drainage. All Wet Wash Test Sieves are constructed either in the more durable all stainless steel or with a brass frame and stainless steel sieve cloth.
ALPINE AIR JET TEST SIEVES
W.S. Tyler is the exclusive distributor in North America for the Hosokawa ALPINE Air Jet Sieve e200 LS, a revolutionary product for vacuum-driven particle size analysis. Air jet sieving is an efficient process that uses air flow as the only variable that sieves the material being analyzed.

Stainless steel sieves from 20 µm to 4000 µm with RFID technology eliminates potential contamination and saves having to manually input the sieve mesh width.
ULTRASONIC TEST SIEVE CLEANER
W. S. Tyler® , Ultrasonic Test Sieve Cleaner is specially designed to provide a safe and effective means for cleaning test sieves. The compact and portable standard unit operates on 110 volt, 60 cycle current. The unit requires little, if any, maintenance.
The cleaner produces ultrasonic vibrations in a cleaning fluid bath, which cause contaminants to become dislodged from both the sieve frame and media. Vibrations up to 40,000 per second (40 kHz) are transmitted to the cleaning solution. Cleaning times range from 5-15 minutes. The unit will clean one 8″ (200 mm) diameter full height test sieve at a time.
